The Chi Lambda Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., hosted a townhall meeting on healthcare reform at First Baptist Church-Bartlett, 2795 Shelby Street, last Saturday (Dec. 12.) BSN, RN Mary Dean-Turner talked about the Medicaid and Medicare billing process, placing emphasis on asking questions and how patients should insist on being treated at hospitals instead of being turned away because of insurance. “It is the law and individuals cannot be turned down for health care no matter what they say.
